What we collect
This site has no accounts, no comments and no newsletter, so we collect no names, emails or passwords. What is collected is limited to what advertising and analytics require, and it is collected by the third parties named below rather than stored by us.
Advertising
Advertising on this site is served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Google describes what it does with data from partner sites in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Where the law requires it — in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — advertising cookies are set only after you have agreed to them in the consent message shown on your first visit. Without consent, ads may still be shown but are not personalised. To change or withdraw your choice, clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser; the consent message is shown again on your next visit. Browser controls are described in the Cookie Policy.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are read and where people leave. Analytics storage stays off until you consent. We do not attempt to identify individuals and we do not upload any data about you to advertising platforms.
Reader ratings
Product pages let you rate a product from 1 to 5 stars. When you rate, we store the rating with a one-way hash of your IP address and the product, so each visitor counts once per product and can change their rating later. The hash is made with a secret key and cannot be turned back into your IP address; the address itself is not stored. Your browser also keeps your own rating in local storage so the stars stay lit when you return; it is not sent anywhere else. To keep automated voting out, the rating form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser only when you start rating, under Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Ratings appear on the site only as averages and counts; individual ratings are never published.
Server logs
The hosting provider records standard request logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and diagnostics. These are not combined with anything else.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to it. For anything held by us, write to the address in the footer. For data held by Google, use Google's own privacy controls, which are more complete than anything we could offer.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means the current version applies.

Use the address in the footer for any privacy question, including a request to exercise the rights above.
