Best AI Music Apps for Songs, Stems and Practice, Ranked
AI music apps do three different jobs: write a whole song from a prompt, split a song you own into its parts, or play an endless stream to work to. Su
Moises is an AI stem splitter and practice player: upload a song you own and it separates vocals, drums, bass and other parts, then adds chord detection, a Smart Metronome and speed and key changes. Free accounts get 5 uploads a month of up to 5 minutes, while Premium costs $5.99 a month on the US App Store and Pro $29.99. Its weak spots are the upload cap, subscription-only pricing and reviews of stalled Android processing.
Specs come from the official store listings and were last checked on 2026-10-06. Developers change pricing and requirements — check the store page before installing.
The free plan works like a trial with a counter. The help center allows 5 uploads a month, counted when you upload, so deleting a song does not give the slot back, and the count resets on the first of the month. Each file can run 5 minutes, against 20 on Premium. Separation comes as two presets, Vocals plus Instrumental, or four stems named Vocals, Drums, Bass and Other. The Smart Metronome, Chord Detection and lyrics view cover only the first minute of a song, speed changes stop at 20 percent and key shifts at 2 semitones. Free libraries are removed after two months without a login. Of the 150 newest English reviews on Google Play, 14 give one or two stars, and those that explain themselves cite the 5-minute cap, rejected links and unclean separation.
On mobile, Chord Detection offers a Grid mode, a simplified view, a capo and a notation switch under Song Settings; the store screenshots show bars 16 to 21 with cells such as Em, Dadd9/E and A7 and the current E lit. The Smart Metronome has subdivisions of 0.5x, 1x and 2x, and its screenshot shows a tempo of 95 marked Moderato. Sections are AI-detected parts of a song that loop singly or together, and only subscribers can rename them. Lyrics transcription covers English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian and cannot be edited on mobile. Timing draws complaints: a 2025 review says the chords sit about a beat off, and an October 2026 review rates the lyrics about 60 percent correct.
Unlocking means a subscription. The US App Store lists Premium at $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year and Pro at $29.99 a month; prices are regional and can change. Premium lifts the upload cap, raises files to 20 minutes, adds guitar, piano, strings and background vocals, and allows up to 5 instruments per upload, with guitar picked as Guitars, Acoustic plus Electric, or Lead plus Rhythm, never all three. Pro adds Hi-Fi models, drum parts (kick, snare, toms, hi-hat, cymbals), Voice Studio, WAV at 48 kHz and 24 bit, and a VST plugin. Pro cannot be downgraded directly to Premium: cancel, wait for Free, then buy again. The help center calls the service non-refundable, with case-by-case exceptions.

Choose it for singing or practicing along with songs you already own: it splits vocals, drums and bass, then adds chords, a metronome and key and speed changes. Install it knowing the free tier ends after 5 uploads and the paid ladder runs from $5.99 to $29.99 a month. Skip it if you want a one-time purchase, need streaming-service links to work, or depend on the Android app staying stable, since 2026 reviews describe stalled jobs and missing songs.

Yes, within limits. Free accounts get 5 uploads a month, each up to 5 minutes, split into Vocals plus Instrumental or four stems: Vocals, Drums, Bass and Other. The metronome, chords and lyrics cover only the first minute of a song. Google Play lists in-app purchases, and Premium and Pro are paid subscriptions.
Upload an audio or video file you own, pick the Vocals plus Instrumental preset, then mute the vocal track in the mixer. Export with Audio Mix to keep the result as one MP3 or M4A file. Links from Spotify or Apple Music are refused, so the song must be a file or a Drive or Dropbox import.
On the US App Store, Premium is $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year, and Pro is $29.99 a month. Prices are regional and can change. Subscriptions renew automatically, and the help center calls the service non-refundable, with case-by-case exceptions. The App Store lists no lifetime option.
Cancel where you subscribed: Subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play, or Account Settings then Manage Subscription on the web. Access lasts to the end of the paid period. To delete the account, cancel first, then open Profile, Settings, Account Information and Delete My Account in the mobile app; the web app cannot do it.
