How to Cancel a TikTok Subscription: iPhone, Android, Web

A TikTok subscription — almost always a LIVE subscription to a creator — is cancelled where it was bought. Subscribed inside the iPhone app, it is an Apple subscription and ends in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; inside the Android app, in the Play Store's subscription list; on tiktok.com with a card, in the website's Settings under LIVE Subscriptions with a Cancel Auto-Renewal button. TikTok itself does not run a subscription for the app — the feed is free with adverts — so the only recurring charge attached to it is a creator's monthly tier, and the perks last until the end of the period you already paid for. Below are the three routes, and how to tell which one is yours.
Before you start
Know what the charge is. TikTok has no premium plan: watching, posting and the editing tools cost nothing, and the app earns from adverts and from Coins — bought from $0.29 for 20 up to $19.99 for 1,321 as of September 2026 — that turn into gifts for live streamers. A recurring charge labelled TikTok is therefore one of two things: a LIVE subscription to a creator, billed monthly for a badge, custom emotes and subscriber-only chat, or a TikTok Shop subscribe-and-save order for a product. Coins are one-off purchases and cannot be cancelled, only not bought again.
Find the biller. The charge line on your card or bank statement says who takes the money. Apple or Google means the app store bills it and the TikTok app cannot stop it. A line from TikTok means it was bought on the website with a card, and the website is where it ends.
Know what you keep. A cancelled LIVE subscription does not end at once: the badge, emotes and chat access run to the end of the billing period already paid, and no refund is issued for the remainder. Cancel at least a day before the renewal date; a cancellation on the day itself may land after the charge.
Step 1. Subscribed in the iPhone app — cancel with Apple
Open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → find TikTok, or the creator's subscription listed under it → Cancel Subscription. The App Store shows the date the current period ends. This is the only route for an iOS purchase; the TikTok app's own subscription screen will send you here.
Step 2. Subscribed in the Android app — cancel with Google
Open the Play Store → tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TikTok → Cancel subscription, and confirm. As with Apple, cancelling inside TikTok does not stop Google Play from billing; only this screen does.
Step 3. Subscribed on the website — cancel in TikTok's settings
If you subscribed on tiktok.com with a card, sign in on the website, hover over your profile picture in the top right and open Settings, then find LIVE Subscriptions in the left-hand menu. Each active subscription is listed with its renewal date; select Cancel Auto-Renewal and confirm. The subscription stays active to the end of the paid period and does not renew.
This screen also tells you when a subscription is not the website's to cancel: a subscription bought on a phone appears with a note pointing to the App Store or Google Play rather than a cancel button.
One reason to check the website even if you subscribed on a phone: prices differ. Creator tiers bought on tiktok.com avoid the app-store commission that is passed on inside the iOS and Android apps, so the same subscription can cost less on the web — which also means the biller changes, and the cancellation route with it.
Step 4. Check the creator's page a month later
The reliable test is the next renewal date: if the subscriber badge is gone from your comments on that creator's LIVE and no new charge has appeared, the cancellation held. If the badge remains after the date, the subscription is still running through a biller you have not checked.
If it does not work
TikTok's settings show no subscription. It was bought through Apple or Google. Check both stores' subscription lists, on every device signed into the same account — a subscription started on an iPad is an Apple one even if you use TikTok on Android now.
The charge is smaller and irregular. That is Coins, not a subscription; there is nothing to cancel. Remove the payment method from the app's wallet if you want to stop buying them.
A monthly product charge, not a creator. A TikTok Shop subscribe-and-save order is managed under your orders in the Shop tab, where each subscription has its own cancel option; it is separate from LIVE subscriptions.
The badge is still showing. The period already paid has not ended. The date is on the store's or website's subscription screen.
A teenager subscribed. Family Pairing can restrict purchases and shows the parent time in app, but the subscription itself is cancelled in the store account that paid — usually the parent's Apple or Google family account.
Bottom line
Find the biller on the statement, then cancel there: Apple's Subscriptions on iPhone, the Play Store on Android, or Settings → LIVE Subscriptions → Cancel Auto-Renewal on tiktok.com. Perks run to the end of the paid month and nothing is refunded, so cancel a day early. And if the charge is Coins, there is no subscription to find — only a habit to stop.
