About Grand Theft Auto VI

Grand Theft Auto VI is dated: Rockstar Games set the launch for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It is not on the App Store or Google Play, and Rockstar has announced no phone version and no PC version. That gap is why search results for a mobile download are full of fakes — APK mirrors, "early access" installers and survey pages.

Grand Theft Auto VI: Consoles on November 19, 2026, Nothing for Phones

What Rockstar Has Actually Said: One Date, Two Consoles

Everything reliable comes from the Rockstar Newswire. The game was first slated for autumn 2025, moved to May 26, 2026 in a May 2025 post, and moved again on November 6, 2025 to November 19, 2026 — Rockstar said the extra months would let it finish the game "with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve". The platforms have not changed since the first trailer: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The setting is the state of Leonida and a return to Vice City. A PC edition and a mobile edition have not been announced; aggregator sites that print either are guessing.

Why Every "GTA 6 APK" Is Fake

Rockstar's phone catalogue on the App Store and Google Play is the older titles — Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories and Chinatown Wars. Grand Theft Auto V, released in 2013, never received a phone port, and there is no listing for the new game in either store. Search demand for a mobile version is enormous and the supply is zero, so the gap is filled by APK mirrors, "installer" apps and survey walls that ask for a phone number. They earn on the click, not the game: at best another game renamed, at worst malware.

What This Page Will Do on November 19, 2026

Nothing here is a review, because there is nothing to install. Every score on this site comes from hands-on use, so an unreleased game gets a status badge instead of a number, and the specifications table stays empty rather than filled from rumours. When the console release ships, the page gets the official Rockstar link and stays unscored until a version we can install on a phone or a PC exists. If a mobile edition is ever announced, it will appear in the App Store and Google Play like any other release, and the install buttons will follow.

Frequently asked questions

Is Grand Theft Auto VI available on iPhone or Android?

No. There is no listing on the App Store or Google Play, and Rockstar has announced only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for the November 19, 2026 launch. Rockstar's phone catalogue is the older games, and even Grand Theft Auto V never came to phones.

What are the GTA 6 APK files being shared online?

They are not the game. Rockstar publishes nothing outside the console stores, its own launcher and the official app stores, so an APK offering Grand Theft Auto VI is at best a different game renamed and at worst malware. The survey pages around them exist to collect a phone number or an ad click.

Will this page get a score?

Only after a release we can install. Every score on this site comes from hands-on use, so an unreleased game shows a status instead of a number. A score follows only if a version for a phone or a PC exists to test.

When is the GTA 6 release date?

November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to the Rockstar Newswire post of November 6, 2025. That is the second delay: the game was first planned for autumn 2025, then for May 26, 2026. No date exists for any other platform.

Where should I watch for the real release?

The Rockstar Newswire and rockstargames.com/VI, where both date changes and both trailers were published first. If a mobile edition is ever announced, the listing will appear on the App Store and Google Play under Rockstar Games as the developer — any other publisher name is a fake.
