Dare Up Adrenaline Review: Skim the Cliffs, Fight the Inverted Stick

Fly Closer, Score Higher — a Wingsuit Game With a Global Top 10

The listing's rules are the whole design: skill-based scoring where proximity to the ground raises the multiplier, crash physics — fly too close and the mountain reminds you who's boss — and global leaderboards with a top 10 of daredevils. The screenshots show it from the pilot's shoulder: a canyon run past pines with the adrenaline bar and an x2 multiplier, hot-air balloons to thread between, power lines over a valley, a coastal descent, and a settings screen with a wingsuit colour picker and an Ultra Graphics toggle. The studio calls it a competitive arcade eSport, and the Steam version — December 8, 2025, $6.99, with Steam leaderboards and seasons — has one review, which recommends it for fun missions and very difficult lines to perfect. On Android the listing calls it our famous arcade wingsuit game, back; New Angle Digital tells reviewers this is an original Steam game made for hardcore players, which is its explanation for the difficulty.

The Controls Argument: Inverted, Left-Handed, and Not Adjustable

Twenty reviews in six languages — 9 five-star, 7 one- or two-star — and the complaint is one complaint. The most-voted, two votes from April 12, 2026, calls it an unfinished game whose default control is inverted vertical with no option to change it and a slow response; the developer replied that more levels are coming and that aeroplane controls are inverted by convention. A July five-star begs for a setting to put the stick on the right because most people are right-handed; a July Indonesian three-star wants the same, plus checkpoints that are not so close to the ground among trees. Difficulty follows: too hard in Indonesian, Portuguese and Arabic reviews, one of them a delighted five-star. The praise is about presentation — amazing graphics for a phone, no ads interrupting, and an April Spanish five-star who found almost no bugs, wants more levels or a story mode, and says it runs excellently.

No Ads, a $99.99 Ceiling, Nothing Collected — and One Update Since Launch

There is no advertising badge, and Google's data-safety card declares nothing collected and nothing shared. In-app purchases run from $0.99 to $99.99 per item without being itemised on the listing; the Steam page mentions wingsuit customisation and seasons, which is the likeliest shape of the shop. It requires Android 8.1 or newer and is rated Everyone; the listing states no download size, and there is no App Store version — New Angle Digital, Vander Amaral's studio, has said nothing about one. Version 1.0.1 on April 22, 2026 is the only update since the March launch, and reviewers from July onward still describe the same controls, so the promised extra levels and a control option had not arrived by then; a July 30 Spanish one-star reports the game not opening at all. Six months in: 10,000-plus installs and no star rating displayed on the listing. Prices vary by region.
