Best Free Action Games for Android, Ranked by Our Scores
Clash of Clans is the best free action game on Android by our scores — 8.2, fourteen years after launch, for attacks that are real decisions and clan
SuperPlay's licensed TriPeaks game trades the usual saga map for Disney and Pixar postcards: won levels earn stars that fill scenes from Moana, Frozen or Toy Story, with more than 75 characters and storylines promised at launch. The card play is standard TriPeaks with Wild cards and boosters. The catch is the economy: every deal costs coins, entry fees climb as you advance, and Google Play items run to $149.99.
Specs come from the official store listings and were last checked on 2026-10-01. Developers change pricing and requirements — check the store page before installing.
Each level deals a TriPeaks layout with face-down cards; you clear cards one rank above or below the top of the discard pile and lose once the draw pile runs dry, per Naavik's May 2025 teardown. Every deal costs coins up front, and a bet multiplier (x1, x2) raises both the fee and the payout in coins and event tokens. Out of draws, five extra cards cost more coins; store screenshots also show Wild cards in the layout and a Streak Bonus meter. In Naavik's example, a 2,100-coin entry at x1 returned only 350 coins net, so even winning runs grow the balance slowly.
Progress away from the table runs through postcards: D23, Disney's fan club, says each completed level reveals more of a scene, and store screenshots show postcards for Zootopia, Toy Story, Moana, The Lion King and Frozen. SuperPlay's April 2025 launch announcement promised more than 75 Disney and Pixar characters and storylines, and the screenshots advertise 5,000+ levels. Limited-time sticker albums run on top, such as a Lilo & Stitch set in February 2026 and Timeless Tunes this autumn. Pacing is slow: one July 2026 reviewer counted eight characters per scene at 10 to 15 stars each, roughly 80 to 100 wins per postcard.
Google Play lists purchases from $0.99 to $149.99 per item; the top US App Store sellers are offers from $0.99 to $6.99 with generic names such as "Disney Solitaire 1 offer". Play flags random items, and Apple's age rating lists loot boxes and advertising. Players report no forced video ads, while PocketGamer.biz describes incentivised ads tied to events such as Movie Nights. The pressure comes from offers: 2026 Play reviewers describe six to nine purchase pop-ups between levels, and one Spanish-speaking player counted 18 in a row at login. Free coins arrive hourly (players cite 2,000 to 3,900) and do not pile up if you skip hours. Prices vary by region and may change.
The listings disagree on who the game is for: Apple rates it 13+ and Google Play Everyone, yet the Play description and SuperPlay's December 2025 terms of service say players must be 18. Apple's privacy label lists purchases, identifiers and usage data as used to track you across other companies' apps; on Play, the developer declares sharing approximate location, user IDs and device IDs, with encryption in transit and deletion on request. Progress depends on account linking: in August 2026 support told a player with no email or Facebook link that eight months of progress could not be restored, and in September another lost a purchased Stitch companion after switching phones.

We score it 6.4: Disney and Pixar art and the postcard meta lift a TriPeaks core whose levels and economy Naavik calls practically identical to Solitaire Grand Harvest's, while the coin economy drags the score down. Take it for a short daily session with characters you grew up with, stopping when the hourly coins run out. Skip it for long free sessions; Microsoft Solitaire Collection includes TriPeaks with a $1.99 Premium Edition, and Candy Crush Solitaire uses fixed entry costs without bet multipliers.

Not dependably. Google Play tags it as an offline game, but SuperPlay's own store description warns that you may need an internet connection to play and to use social features. Players also note that the hourly free coins do not pile up while you are away, so time offline does not bank extra currency.
Largely, past the early chapters. Every level costs coins, the fee rises as you advance, and extra cards or Wild cards cost more when a deal stalls; one July 2026 player cited a 16,000-coin Epic entry against 33,500 coins for one Wild card. Hourly free coins keep patient players going. Google Play items run $0.99 to $149.99; prices vary by region.
iPhone and iPad on iOS 15 or later, Macs with an Apple M1 chip or newer, Apple Vision Pro and Android 7.0 or later. Downloads are close to 400 MB on iPhone and about 210 MB on Android. After the August and September 2026 updates, some Play reviewers reported crashes and "something went wrong" errors at launch.
Not against each other: Google Play lists it as single player. The social side is lighter, with friend invites, events and Game Center achievements on Apple devices. Link an email or Facebook account early, because support told one player in August 2026 that progress on an unlinked account could not be recovered.
Usually until the coins run out. One August 2026 reviewer put it at about 20 minutes before an hour's wait for the next free coins, and players at higher levels describe saving for days. Content is not the limit: the store screenshots advertise 5,000+ levels, players report passing level 1,500, and each postcard takes dozens of wins.
