The Witcher 3 Remastered Arrives as a Free Upgrade
CD Projekt Red's remaster of The Witcher 3 lands on September 29, and the studio announced it as a free upgrade for everyone who already owns the game
Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17 — 34 original songs made with Atlantic Records, arriving November 19, the same day the game launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The first six singles, from Travis Scott to Keith Richards, went live on streaming services immediately; the other 28 tracks are unnamed for now. Vinyl and CD editions are up for pre-order.
The Rockstar Newswire post of September 17 describes the record as the official soundtrack album for Grand Theft Auto VI, "34 original tracks that capture the electric energy" of Vice City and the state of Leonida, built in partnership with Atlantic Records. It launches November 19 and can be pre-saved on every major streaming service now.
Six singles are already streaming, in the order Rockstar listed them (each link is Atlantic Records' official upload on YouTube):
That spread — Swedish cloud rap, Atlanta trap, French house, Nashville country, Puerto Rican reggaeton and a Rolling Stone — is the point. Rockstar calls the roster "genre-defying", and the six songs are the first hard evidence of what the in-game radio will sound like.
Physical editions arrive at launch too. Three are exclusive to the album's own store: a limited-edition liquid-filled vinyl at $124.98, a splatter-edition vinyl at $49.98 and a CD jewel case at $19.98, all pre-orderable now. Separate vinyl colourways with their own artwork are going to Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and independent record shops.
Nothing on the album is required to play. It is a separate music release, not part of any game edition, and the songs are not a pre-order bonus. What a phone owner gets is the ability to hear a slice of GTA VI's radio two months early: the six singles sit in Apple Music, Spotify and the rest today, and the full 34 land the morning the game does.
The 34 tracks are original, which is a change from how Grand Theft Auto has usually handled music — licensed stations built from existing catalogues. Rockstar's post says more is coming "about the music of Grand Theft Auto VI, including the dynamic score, the next evolution of in-game radio, and more", so the album is one layer of a larger music plan, not the whole of it.
Rockstar has not said when the remaining 28 tracks or their artists will be revealed, only that more music details are on the way. The next fixed date is November 19, when the game and the complete album arrive together. Until then the six singles are the whole of what can be heard.

No. It is a separate release through Atlantic Records, not bundled with any edition of the game and not a pre-order bonus. The songs are expected to feature on the game's in-game radio, but buying the album is optional.
