Palworld Online: Garena's Licensed MMO, Announced for 2026 With No Date

What Garena and Pocketpair Have Actually Announced

The announcement is the whole record. On August 2, 2026 Garena — the Singapore publisher of Free Fire — announced Palworld Online, a large-scale multiplayer survival adventure licensed from Pocketpair, for iOS and Android in 2026, as Gematsu's Sal Romano reported. Garena President Terry Zhao spoke of preserving the depth, immersion and freedom of Palworld; Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe pointed to Garena's experience in global publishing, localisation and live operations. No date, no beta schedule and no regions were named. The Google Play listing that followed describes the game in Garena's terms and shows 1,000-plus installs, a Teen rating and no in-app purchase badge, which is what a pre-launch listing looks like; there is no App Store page in the US. It is worth separating from Krafton's Palworld Mobile, a separate licensed project meant to port the original game's systems — Palworld Online is a new MMO with its own story.

Catch, Hatch, Build Together, Raid, Duel, Glide

The listing describes an MMORPG rather than a survival sandbox: collect Pals and fill a Paldeck, hatch and train a squad that fights beside you and runs your base without stress, and build — a home, a fortress, or wonders with friends on a shared settlement. Group content is the pitch: PvE dungeons, raids, PvP duels and open-world encounters with massive social events; a glider for an unbroken landscape of cliffs, treasures and puzzles; and exclusive side stories that expand the islands' lore with an original narrative. Gematsu adds a mobile-optimised interface with one-tap controls and automated production by deploying Pals.
