The next BanG Dream rhythm game launches worldwide on September 24 on iOS and Android, free to play. Our Notes carries five bands — MyGO!!!!!, Ave Mujica and three new ones — and a rhythm system built around GEKISO Live sections plus real-time scored battles against other players. The App Store listing shows the same date and English among the supported languages.
What was announced
BanG Dream! Our Notes gets a global release on September 24, 2026, on iOS and Android, published by bilibili Game for the worldwide version. The App Store listing carries that date, version 1.0.1 and a free price; supported languages are English, Korean, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
The line-up is five bands rather than the usual two or three: MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica, both carried over from the anime, plus three new ones — Mugendai MewType, millsage and Ikka Dumb Rock! The story follows all five.
Two things separate the rhythm system from the series' earlier games. GEKISO Live inserts high-intensity sections into songs rather than keeping one difficulty across a track. And real-time performance battles match players against each other live, scoring on combos and timing accuracy with a luck element on top.
What it means for players
For the series' audience, the draw is MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica as playable bands in a current game rather than as guests. For everyone else, this is a rhythm game with live PvP — a format that only works if matchmaking has players in it, which is exactly what a simultaneous global launch is meant to solve.
The free-to-play question is unanswered: bilibili has not published pull rates, energy limits or song unlock rules, and a rhythm game's economy usually lives in all three. The App Store page lists in-app purchases without a public breakdown.
One practical note for phones: rhythm games with live PvP are sensitive to touch latency and connection quality, so a game built around real-time battles will feel different on a mid-range device than on a flagship. Nothing in the listing sets a minimum hardware bar beyond the store's own requirements.
What happens next
Launch is September 24 with no staggered rollout announced. Pre-registration rewards, if any, are credited at launch; the developer has not said when the first event or band update arrives.
