The Witcher 3 Remastered Arrives as a Free Upgrade
CD Projekt Red's remaster of The Witcher 3 lands on September 29, and the studio announced it as a free upgrade for everyone who already owns the game
Dave the Diver arrived on the App Store and Google Play on September 17, published by NEXON's sub-brand MINTROCKET as a full port of the PC game. The download is free and covers the opening of the story; the rest of the game is a single in-app unlock. The In the Jungle and DREDGE expansions launched on the same day.
MINTROCKET set the date on August 12 and delivered it: on September 17 Dave the Diver went live on iOS and Android worldwide. The store listing describes it as a full port of the original PC game: dive the Blue Hole by day, run Bancho Sushi by night, with the same story, characters and the 200-plus sea creatures of the original.
The pricing model is try-before-you-buy. The app is free and lets you play the opening portion of the story; unlocking the full game is one in-app purchase, listed at $4.99 in the US store as of September 18. Two expansions launched alongside it: the In the Jungle paid DLC and the free DREDGE crossover pack, plus the Digital Extra bundle that comes with the base unlock.
The mobile build has a few touches of its own: gyro control for pouring tea at the restaurant, a three-level view-distance setting for older phones, and fast travel to characters in the Sea People's village. It needs iOS 15 or later and about 3.7 GB of space on iPhone.
This is the same game that sold on Steam and Switch, at a fraction of the price and with a free demo built in — the opening chapter is enough to know whether the loop of harpooning fish and serving sushi is for you. The unlock is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and there are no gacha systems; the only other purchases are the expansions.
Two cautions. The 3.7 GB download is large by mobile standards, so install on Wi-Fi. And the game is designed around touch here, not a controller; MINTROCKET has not listed gamepad support on the store page, so treat controller play as unconfirmed.
MINTROCKET has not announced further content for mobile beyond the two day-one expansions. The PC version's later updates, including the Godzilla and Ichiban's Holiday crossovers, are not mentioned on the mobile listing, so whether they arrive is an open question until the studio says so.
The download is free and includes the opening portion of the story. Unlocking the full game is a one-time in-app purchase, listed at $4.99 in the US App Store as of September 18. The DREDGE pack is free; the In the Jungle expansion is a separate paid DLC.

Yes. MINTROCKET calls it a full port of the PC game with the same story and content, plus mobile additions such as gyro tea-pouring, a view-distance setting and fast travel. It requires iOS 15 or later and roughly 3.7 GB of storage.
