THQ Nordic Mobile released Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed on the App Store and Google Play on September 16 at $15.99, a one-time price with no in-app purchases. The port by Snapshot Games carries the full Wasteland campaign of the 2024 remake, touch controls built around the paint-and-thinner brush, and support for external controllers. It needs iOS 18 and about 2.4 GB.
What was announced
THQ Nordic Mobile's press release of September 16 confirmed the mobile release and the price: $15.99, premium, no microtransactions. The App Store listing went live the same week and lists THQ Nordic Mobile GmbH as publisher, with the porting work credited to Snapshot Games.
The game is the 2024 remake of Warren Spector's 2010 Wii title, rebuilt by Purple Lamp: Mickey is pulled into Wasteland, a realm of forgotten Disney characters ruled by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and reshapes it with a magic brush — paint restores, thinner erases — with the story's ending shaped by which one you lean on. The remake added a dash, ground pound and sprinting, and the mobile version keeps them. Touch controls were designed around the brush mechanic rather than mapped from a gamepad, though a Bluetooth controller works if you prefer one.
What it means for players
At $15.99 this is priced like a console-style premium game, not a free-to-play app, and it behaves like one: buy once, own the whole campaign, no energy timers or currency. That is the same model THQ Nordic Mobile used for its earlier ports, and the price sits below the $59.99 launch price of the console remake.
The hardware bar is higher than most mobile games. iOS 18 rules out anything older than iPhone XS and XR, and the 2.4 GB download plus a 3D platformer's frame rate means recent phones will have the smoother experience. Google Play lists the Android version with the same $15.99 tag.

THQ Nordic Mobile has not announced post-launch content for the mobile version; the console remake had none either, so the campaign is the full package. The next data point to watch is whether the price holds — the publisher's other ports have gone on sale during store-wide events, but nothing is scheduled.
