The Witcher 3 Remastered Arrives as a Free Upgrade
CD Projekt Red's remaster of The Witcher 3 lands on September 29, and the studio announced it as a free upgrade for everyone who already owns the game
Netmarble brought two trailers for Solo Leveling: KARMA to Tokyo Game Show on September 17 — a cinematic and a gameplay one. They set the game inside the 27-year Monarch War, a period the series has not covered, and show the roguelite loop: mixed weapon types, procedural runs and more than 200 stacking buffs. It is still dated only as 2026, on iOS, Android and PC.
Both trailers went out on September 17 during Tokyo Game Show, from Netmarble and its studio Netmarble Neo. The cinematic one sets the story: an original scenario inside the 27-year Monarch War, a stretch of the Solo Leveling timeline the manhwa and anime have referenced rather than shown.
The gameplay trailer is the more informative of the two. KARMA is a roguelite action RPG, not another idle or turn-based licence game: runs are procedurally assembled, weapon types are meant to be combined rather than picked once, and the build comes from stacking over 200 buffs across a run. A playable demo ran at the show.
Platforms are confirmed as iOS, Android and PC. The release window remains 2026 with no date, which is now the third public appearance without one.
The genre choice is the news. Licensed anime games on phones default to gacha collection with auto-battle; a roguelite with build variety asks for actual input and makes each run different, which is a different audience and a different monetisation shape. Netmarble has not described how it sells — whether characters, energy or cosmetics — and that is the question a demo at a show does not answer.
One practical note for phone players: a roguelite needs precise input, and the demo was shown on PC and controller. How the run-based combat maps to a touchscreen — and whether controller support is in at launch — has not been shown.
The date is the other half. "2026" with a little over three months left means either a launch inside the quarter or a quiet slip into next year; Netmarble's recent titles have done both.
No release date, no pre-registration date and no beta have been announced. The next milestone is likely a pre-registration opening, which Netmarble usually runs four to six weeks before launch.
No date has been announced. Netmarble still lists it for 2026 on iOS, Android and PC, and showed two new trailers plus a playable demo at Tokyo Game Show on September 17.
