The loop is the horse-game standard done with care. You are Barbie — either of them, the game's two leads share the name — volunteering at the Roaming Hearts Rescue Ranch in Moonrise Valley, where horses have mysteriously gone free. Quests send you riding out to find and befriend them, each with its own coat; back at the stable you brush, feed and pet them to earn trust; then you train the best for Time Trials and five-star ratings, with Western tack, barrel racing and fashion challenges for rider and horse. An App Store four-star from September 17, 2026 says the Western side separates it from other mobile horse games, while calling the whole a bit soulless; a June 28 five-star values that there is no way to contact other players. Reviewers ask to dismount and to jump at will. PikPok of Wellington released it on June 16, 2026 for iOS 16 and Android 10, in 11 languages, rated 4+ and Everyone.

The friction shows up after the first week. A July 27 App Store four-star was obsessed for days, then found the waits for horses growing as the story went on; a June 29 two-star hit missions that demand trading for an item 20 times or skilling up 40 times, which take ages unless you spend stars that eventually cost money. On Google Play, where the rating is 4.0 from 2,000 reviews against 4.7 from 1,396 on the App Store, a September 13 review finds moving and panning the camera in the time trials frustrating enough to miss the heart goals, and a September 4 one-star adds lag in some map areas that makes races there far harder. The most-voted Play review, June 28 with 14 votes, loves the game and crashes every time it opens the quest menu. Version 1.1.2 on August 19–20 added horse-personality animations and promised limited-time events.

Ads, Gems, a $9.99 Event Pass and a Riding Club That Owns a Stall

For a 4+ game the shop is full. Both stores carry advertising; Google Play prices items from $0.99 to $99.99, and the App Store's top ten are Gem Packs at $1.99 to $19.99, Horse Couture at $4.99, an Event Pass at $9.99 and the Barbie Riding Club subscription — weekly at $2.99, with monthly and yearly terms — which provides daily in-game benefits. The reviews describe how it bites: a June 28 player finds tack sets sold five pieces of six with the sixth in the club and calls $10 a month steep for a game with bugs; a September 4 player bought event horses and one was assigned to a club stall, so using a horse already paid for now needs the membership. Apple's tracking list is Location, Identifiers and Usage Data linked to you; Google's card lists Location, Personal info and four other types collected.
