Farming Simulator 26 Mobile Review: New Map, Same Farm, Worse Helpers

Two Maps, 15 Crops, 120 Machines and Contracts — for $7.99

The purchase buys the whole farm: two new maps, 15 field crops plus trees, seven animals — cows, sheep, chickens, goats and their offspring — three kinds of plantation forestry, and a machine list of more than 120 licensed vehicles from Case IH, CLAAS, Deutz-Fahr, Fendt, John Deere, Krone, Massey Ferguson, New Holland and Valtra, GPS guidance included. Production chains turn harvests into goods and factories, and contract jobs are the addition September 2026 reviewers single out as new. GIANTS launched it on May 19, 2026 alongside the Nintendo Switch version, and Gaming on Phone's Dipanjan Chakraborty scored it 6.5/10 on May 27 after six to eight hours on a Samsung M55 — smooth on medium, stuttering on high, with five graphics presets and a UI whose text sometimes misaligns or runs off screen. Four months in the listing shows 50,000 installs and 3,510 reviews at 3.4.

AI Workers That Collide, and the Question of Upgrading From FS23

The recurring complaint is the hired help. A September 4, 2026 Play review with four helpful votes describes AI workers that cannot tell what you have already done on a field, and that bump into each other when two work the same plot; a September 14 review calls the AI more confused than ever and lists equipment you can buy but never need, such as water tankers; a September 11 review on a OnePlus 11 reports no stability issues and better graphics, likes the contracts and the auto-align on fields, and still concludes it is not worth the upgrade from FS23 — the same game with a new map, good for a newcomer. That is the honest positioning: the 2023 mobile edition already covered most of this, and the sequel's additions are contracts, goats, two maps and new machines rather than a new kind of game.

The price is $7.99 on both stores, and then there is more. The App Store lists coin packs — 200,000 for $1.19, 500,000 for $2.49, a million for $3.49 — and flags Advertising alongside In-App Purchases; the Google Play listing carries a Contains-ads badge and prices its purchases from $1.19 to $3.49. Nothing here is gated the way a free-to-play farm gates progress, but a paid simulator with ads and a currency is a combination worth knowing about before buying. Requirements are iOS 18.0 with 2.7 GB free, in 24 languages; Google Play does not publish the Android floor on its web listing.
