The Hunt: Roblox 20 opened on September 17 and closes on September 28. It walks through twenty games, one for each year from Crossroads in 2006 to Grow a Garden in 2025, with a badge in each and a free item for every year cleared. Finishing all twenty unlocks Year Infinity, a second set of twenty games standing for Roblox from 2026 on. No codes, no purchases.
The third instalment of The Hunt began on September 17 at 3 p.m. PT, an hour after a preview window for Roblox Premium subscribers, and ends on September 28. The framing is the platform's 20th anniversary: twenty games, one per year, from Crossroads (2006) to Grow a Garden (2025), taking in Lumber Tycoon 2 and Dress to Impress along the way.
Each game carries its own objective and awards a badge on completion. Badge totals unlock the anniversary rewards — a different cosmetic for each year, beginning with the Crossroads Tower Hat and ending with Grown From a Garden. Clear all twenty and Year Infinity opens: another twenty experiences meant to represent Roblox in 2026 and beyond.
Everything in the event is quest-earned. There are no codes and nothing to buy.
The deadline is the whole story: eleven days for forty games if you want Year Infinity as well, and the objectives are not uniform — some are a five-minute visit, others a full round of a competitive game. Players who care about the hat set should sort by year and take the quick ones first, because the badge count, not the specific games, unlocks the rewards.
There is one thing to check before starting: badges are awarded per account, not per device, so a hunt begun on a phone continues on a PC or console without losing progress.
It is also a tour of the platform's history that doubles as discovery: a 2006 baseplate game and a 2025 farming hit in the same list is a fair picture of what Roblox has been. On phones all forty run in the same app, which is the point of the format.
The event closes on September 28 and the badges stop being obtainable then; Roblox has not said whether the rewards return. Games added to Year Infinity stay playable afterwards, but without the event quests attached.
September 28, 2026. The event started on September 17 at 3 p.m. PT, following a preview window for Roblox Premium subscribers, and all badges must be earned before it closes.
Twenty, one for each year from Crossroads in 2006 to Grow a Garden in 2025. Completing all twenty unlocks Year Infinity, a further twenty experiences representing Roblox from 2026 onwards.
No. Every reward in the event is earned through in-game quests and badges rather than codes, and nothing in it costs Robux. Any site offering codes for The Hunt is not connected to the event.
