The developer's replies on Google Play put the free allowance at three uses a day, with no sign-in or card needed once the launch paywall is closed. Reviewers writing in English and Spanish say free results arrive between ads and carry a watermark, and several one-star reviews from 2026 say the subscription screen looked mandatory. Most Android plans in Cool Summer's own terms are labelled "No Trial", so a paid week bills at once. The Floor Plan tool, headline of the September 2026 update, is capped at two runs a day even for subscribers; the developer blames its high computing cost. On the web, the free tier is one watermarked generation.

Room Restyle vs your real walls: Structural Preservation and the AI Agent

Restyling takes one photo, a room type and a preset style; the company's website counts 30+ styles and 15+ room types, while the App Store listing claims 100+ styles. Its FAQ promises the layout stays intact, yet the most-upvoted English review on Google Play, with 812 helpful votes, describes doors and windows being replaced, and a September 2026 App Store review says a fireplace and windows became blank wall. The developer's suggested fix is Structural Preservation mode in step 4 of the interior flow. Since June 2026, an AI Agent chat can refine a result by text. Planner 5D works the other way: you draw 2D and 3D floor plans and use AR to capture real room dimensions.

$5.99 a week to $129.99 lifetime: plans, cancelling and refunds

Cool Summer's terms list Android weekly plans from $5.99 to $14.99, yearly plans from $14.99 to $59.99, lifetime unlocks from $49.99 to $129.99 and chat packs of 5, 10 or 20 for $1.99 to $4.99. Prices are US figures and vary by region. Billing runs through Google Play or Apple, so cancelling means switching off auto-renewal in the store at least 24 hours before renewal; removing the app stops nothing. The developer sends disputed charges to Google Play support, and charges after cancellation recur in reviews, including a June 2026 Play review with 45 helpful votes. Realtors should note that the app terms allow personal, non-commercial use only, even though the web Plus plan advertises commercial use.

Room photos: 7-day deletion, Gemini, Dreamina and GPT-5 mini

Cool Summer's privacy policy, shared by nine of its apps, says prompts and images go to outside AI providers, naming Google's Gemini, ByteDance's Dreamina and OpenAI's GPT-5 mini, and that uploads are deleted within 7 days of generation unless you allow training use. Deletion requests by email take up to 10 business days. Google Play's data safety form lists photos as optional and used for app functionality, alongside email address and device IDs, with nothing shared. Apple's label says usage data may be used to track you. The policy also names 12 ad networks, from AdMob to Pangle, and one clause reserves the right to sell volunteered information to advertisers, contradicting a later promise not to sell personal data.
