Burger King's official US app puts mobile ordering, delivery and the Royal Perks loyalty program behind one account, with app-only coupons in its Offers tab. Each dollar earns 10 Crowns; the cheapest reward costs 200 Crowns, about $20 of spending, and a Whopper costs 700. The catch: delivery stacks a 15% service fee on menu prices set above restaurant prices, and refunds on completed orders are at the company's discretion.
Specs come from the official store listings and were last checked on 2026-10-01. Developers change pricing and requirements — check the store page before installing.
Registering enrolls you in Royal Perks automatically, and every dollar spent after discounts, excluding tax and fees, earns 10 Crowns on up to three orders a day. Since November 12, 2025 the reward menu has four tiers instead of six: 200 Crowns for a hamburger or small fries (down from a 250-Crown entry tier), 400 for a Whopper Jr., 700 for a Whopper and 1,000 for an Impossible Whopper or a small meal. A free Whopper therefore sits $70 of spending away, the same distance as a Big Mac at 7,000 McDonald's points, while Taco Bell Rewards pays out every 250 points, or $25. One reward fits each order, 60 minutes must pass between redemptions, and tiers can change.
In the restaurant, a 6-digit My Code shown at checkout earns Crowns, and so does a credit card linked to the account. The same code redeems one reward or one offer per in-restaurant transaction, and modifiers such as extra cheese are charged on top. A missed scan can be claimed with the receipt at bk.com/claim-points within 48 hours, one receipt per day. Walmart+ members who link accounts get 25% off one digital order a day and a free Whopper with a purchase once per calendar quarter, though neither stacks with other coupons. Birthday months double Crown earning and add one free item, and the birthday on file can be changed only once.
Delivery ordered in the app or on bk.com needs a $5 minimum. The delivery terms list a $2.99 fee, waived from $25 but a flat $3.00 in California, a 15% service fee on the subtotal, a $2.50 small-cart fee under $10 and a $0.29 state fee in Colorado; item prices also run above restaurant prices. These orders, carried by third-party couriers, earn Crowns everywhere except Alaska and Hawaii, while the same meal bought through DoorDash or Uber Eats earns none. A confirmed order cannot be canceled, an uncollected pickup is discarded without a refund, and refunds on completed orders are discretionary. Fees vary by location, so check the total at checkout.
Apple's privacy label lists purchases, identifiers and usage data as used to track you across other companies' apps, links precise location to your identity and warns the app may use location while closed; Google Play's Data safety form says nothing is collected or shared. The privacy policy, updated September 17, 2026, describes "sales," "sharing" and targeted advertising with ad-tech vendors and social platforms, honors Global Privacy Control, and may use call transcripts and text prompts to train AI. Mobile ordering requires an account, each account joins Royal Perks, and leaving the program means deleting the account. The ordering terms also require the age of majority, despite a 13+ App Store rating.

We score the BK app 6.6: Royal Perks now pays out sooner, at 200 Crowns, and app-only offers bring real savings, but delivery stacks a 15% service fee on higher prices, refunds are discretionary, and Apple's label lists cross-app tracking. Take it if you pick up at Burger King weekly and spend Crowns before they lapse. Skip it for small delivery orders, or if precise location tracking and ad-data sharing bother you.

700 Crowns. At 10 Crowns per dollar spent after discounts, excluding tax and fees, that equals $70 of eligible spending. The cheapest tier, 200 Crowns, covers items such as a hamburger, small fries or a small soft drink. Tiers were last revised on November 12, 2025 and can change.
Yes, when delivery is ordered in the BK app or on bk.com, except in Alaska and Hawaii. Crowns are based on the amount paid after discounts, excluding taxes and fees, and post within 48 hours. Orders placed through DoorDash, Uber Eats or another delivery aggregator earn nothing, and only three orders a day count.
In most states, $2.99 per order, waived from $25, plus a 15% service fee on the subtotal and a $2.50 small-cart fee below $10; the minimum order is $5. California pays a flat $3.00 delivery fee, and Colorado adds a $0.29 state fee. Menu prices are also higher than in restaurants. Fees vary by location.
Yes. Crowns expire on the first day of the month after the sixth month from when you earned them, so Crowns earned in January lapse on August 1. An account with no eligible purchases for two years can be unregistered, voiding the balance. Crowns have no cash value, and leaving Royal Perks requires deleting the whole account.
It can. Apple's privacy label says precise and coarse location are linked to your identity and that the app may use location when it is not open, while Google Play's form claims no data is collected. You can switch location access off in phone settings; to limit ad sharing, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link.
