Rewards is free and replaced the Beauty Club Card, which cost $5 a year. Preferred members earn 10 points per dollar, and every 500 points become a $5 coupon, a 10% return. Spending $200 in a calendar year unlocks Elite: 12.5 points per dollar, or $5 per $40. The terms add catches: a coupon expires 30 days after issue and can't be split, so a $10 coupon on an $8 item forfeits $2, and points vanish after 12 months without a purchase. Ulta Beauty Rewards pays $3 per 100 points at one point per dollar and lets redemptions combine; Sephora's Beauty Insider gives $10 off per 500 points. These are US terms and can change.

Ship To Me, In-Store Pickup or 2-Hour Delivery: stock is the weak link

Each product page offers Ship To Me, In-Store Pickup and 2-Hour Delivery. Pickup is free at any order size, usually ready within two hours, and cancelled if not collected within 96 hours. 2-Hour Delivery is free over $35 when ordered before 4 p.m., though the threshold shifts with promotions. In fiscal Q3 2026, the company said pickup made up the majority of app orders. The stock count behind those buttons is the weak link: an August 2026 Google Play review says orders routinely arrive with items missing or get cancelled, and a July 2026 reviewer notes that in-store purchases appear in order history without an itemized list.

Licensed Colorist OnDemand: free 15-minute hair color consultations

Licensed Colorist OnDemand, the most useful feature, is free: it connects you with a licensed colorist by video or text chat for about 15 minutes, daily from 8 a.m. Central time, for US residents aged 18 or older, with Spanish available. Afterwards the colorist sends a product list, and no purchase is required. The company reported more than 5,200 consultations a week in fiscal Q3 2026, and a July 2026 Google Play reviewer describes getting one through the app. Product pages add a Search by color field for polish and dye shades and an AI-generated Summary of Reviews built from English-language reviews only.

The February 2026 rebuild: slow pages, failed checkouts, two privacy labels

The rebuilt app shipped in February 2026, and 84 of the 166 Google Play reviews dated 2026 that we pulled give one star. The most-upvoted April 2026 review describes a loading circle of 10 seconds or more after every tap; others report checkout errors that weren't the card's fault and a back button that closes the app. The privacy labels disagree: Google Play's Data safety form says the app collects no data, yet shares app interactions, diagnostics and device IDs for analytics. Apple's label lists purchases and contact info as used to track you across other companies' apps, and warns the app may use location even when closed.
