Best Beauty Apps for Booking and Shopping, Ranked
Fresha is the best beauty app for booking: it costs the customer nothing, books from salons' live calendars, and shows off-peak discounts before you p
An Android selfie camera from Mobile_V5, the Play name of Singapore's IMEDIASOFT Technology, that applies lipstick, blusher, skin smoothing and face reshaping live in the viewfinder, before the shutter, not only in an editor afterwards. AR stickers, a body editor and collage tools share the same 10M+ install app. The catch: some stickers and makeup looks have sat behind Premium since late 2025, and the permission list includes precise GPS location.
Specs come from the official store listings and were last checked on 2026-10-01. Developers change pricing and requirements — check the store page before installing.
Downloading and shooting cost nothing, but Google Play flags both ads and in-app purchases, with US items priced from $1.99 to $19.99; store prices are regional and can change. The developer publishes no plan breakdown: its listed website is a short welcome page on Amazon S3 with no pricing or help content. Reviews date the shift: a December 2025 reviewer wrote that some stickers, makeup looks and filters had become Premium where everything used to be free, and a January 2026 review with 558 helpful votes asked for free makeup. An August 2026 Spanish-language review called the locks lighter than in rivals where non-VIP users get a basic camera. Ads split opinion too: more than a dozen reviewers in four languages report none or very few, despite the Contains ads badge.
The camera screen carries three tabs. Effect holds whole-face presets named Young, Elegant, Cute, Warm and Rose, plus a None option and a strength slider; Makeup splits into lipstick shades such as Ruby, Strawberry and Brick and blushers such as Peach and Flower. A separate Reshape panel adds V Thin, Eye Enlarge, Mouth, Nose and Cheek Thin next to a Skin tab. Makeup can be on before you touch anything: two reviewers found it applied automatically, and the developer's fix in both replies was Makeup > None. Auto save starts off, so photos must be saved by hand unless you enable it in the three-dot menu; a 2024 review with 1,689 helpful votes warned that unsaved pictures disappear. Another 2024 review, with 350 votes, adds that the same makeup lands on every face in the frame.
Behind Mobile_V5 is IMEDIASOFT Technology Pte. Ltd., registered in Singapore, with a +86 phone number on its Play profile and a privacy policy hosted on an ijoysoftconnect.com address. The Android permission list reaches past a camera: precise GPS and network location, microphone, Wi-Fi details, draw over other apps and set wallpaper. The Data safety form declares only device IDs, collected optionally for analytics, shared with no one, encrypted in transit and not deletable. The policy reads wider: it lists IMEI, MAC address and the Android advertising ID, allows transfers to China or Singapore, and accepts erasure requests by email, which contradicts the Play form. It also says the service is not aimed at children under 13, while Google Play rates the app Everyone.

Beauty Camera: Sweet Camera earns 6.6 for a capable live makeup and reshape camera held back by unreliable video and a permission list that reaches well past selfies. Take it if you want lipstick, blusher and V Thin adjustments applied before the shutter on an Android phone and can live with ads. Skip it if you mainly record video, use an iPhone, or would rather not grant precise location to a developer whose Play form offers no way to delete your data.

Yes, the download and the live camera are free, but the app shows ads and sells in-app items priced from $1.99 to $19.99 in the US store; prices vary by region. Since late 2025 reviewers report that some stickers, makeup looks and filters need Premium, though an August 2026 reviewer said the free version is far from a basic camera.
Tap the Makeup button on the photo screen and choose None. That is the developer's own instruction in replies to Google Play reviewers who found lipstick added automatically. The Effect tab also starts with a None option, so you can shoot an unfiltered photo and keep only the Reshape or Skin adjustments you pick.
Google Play lists in-app items from $1.99 to $19.99 each in the US, and the developer publishes no plan breakdown, so check the exact Premium price on the paywall before paying; prices are regional and may change. It is worth buying only if the locked stickers or makeup looks matter to you, because the camera itself works without it.
Auto save is off by default, so a shot is not stored until you tap save. Open the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and switch on Auto save, the steps the developer gives in its Google Play replies. Separately, reviewers report edited videos failing to save and recordings rejected with a 'video too short' error.
BeautyPlus from Pixocial and YouCam Makeup from Perfect Mobile Corp. are the closest swaps, with 500M+ and 100M+ Google Play installs and iPhone versions this app lacks; their in-app items run up to $99.99 and $82.99. Snapchat suits live AR lenses better but needs an account, whereas this camera's Data safety form lists no account data at all.
