Silvia, a Letter, and Creatures From Indonesian Folklore

The listing sets the premise: third-person action-horror in which Silvia, a high-school girl trapped in an otherworld nightmare, searches for her missing best friend and her mother's cherished letter, her only memory of her. The genre model is named — limited-resource combat and environmental puzzles in the spirit of Resident Evil and Silent Hill — with settings and creatures drawn from Asian folklore and Indonesian culture, a non-linear story with multiple endings, and axe-and-knife fights. The remaster promises improved lighting, smoother cutscenes, redesigned maps and puzzles, smarter enemy AI and rebalanced difficulty over the original Misguided, which JEVO sold on Android for years. The demo has 712 ratings at 4.6 and 68 written reviews since February 2026, 52 of them five-star, many in Indonesian, and JEVO replies to nearly all. The most-voted, 15 votes from February 27, likes the idea, atmosphere and story direction, wants the graphics kept improving, and hopes the full game is not fully paid; Indonesian players call the remaster's horror far stronger than the original's and a March 2 review calls it the best Indonesian horror experience. The complaints are technical. A February 15 three-star with six votes saw only red, blue and green blocks on its device; a March 1 one-star got a green line across the screen, which the developer promised to fix; a May 25 one-star froze on the language screen. A March 5 two-star on a gamepad found movement and camera reversed and asked where the original Misguided went after buying the remaster. A May 2 five-star with five votes finds Silvia's run too slow and childish.

Free Demo, Paid Full Game, and an Unlock Button That Opens Steam

The demo is free with no ads and no in-app purchases, and Google's data-safety card declares nothing collected or shared; the $1.99–$3.99 items Google Play lists have no badge and belong to JEVO's other apps. The full game is not free: the developer's March reply says the full version will be a premium paid game, and Steam lists Misguided Remastered as coming in 2026 with full controller support, Steam Cloud, achievements and adjustable difficulty, alongside a separate Steam demo. That connection produced the demo's oddest complaint — a May 2 two-star says the unlock-full-game button opens the Steam store. A demo 6.1: a free, clean first chapter of an Indonesian survival-horror remake that its players already find scarier than the original, with render glitches on some phones and a full game still dated 2026. Take it if you want Resident Evil's shape with Southeast Asian folklore and have a phone above the 2 GB floor. Skip it until the full release if a single chapter and a paid sequel are not what you came for.
