Petit Planet is published by Cognosphere, HoYoverse's Singapore entity behind Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, and it is the studio's first life sim. The App Store page shows a version 0.9.1 build, a 3.46 GB download, iOS 14 as the floor, 15 languages and a 9+ rating, with December 31, 2026 as the expected date — a year-end placeholder that Apple pre-orders often carry, not a HoYoverse announcement. Google Play lists pre-registration with in-app items priced from $0.99 to $99.99, an Everyone rating and no install count yet, and the description closes by calling the game a free download across platforms, which is where PC sits. Nothing on either listing names a launch window, and HoYoverse's own site for the game is the only place a date would appear first. Until it does, this page has no score, no pros and cons, and no specifications beyond the listing.

A Planet to Shape, Neighbors to House, a Starsea to Sail

The design reads as Animal Crossing in orbit. You shape your planet's landscape, coastline and skies and decorate a home; Neighbors — fuzzy characters wandering the Starsea looking for somewhere to live — move in and reveal their stories through gifts, shared meals and strolls. The daily loop is farming curious crops, fishing, catching bugs, beachcombing and combining ingredients into recipes, with sprites popping up along the way. Beyond your planet, the Starsea is the exploration layer: sail to uncharted places with your helpers, gather materials and meet creatures. The Galactic Bazaar is the social hub, where Planet Tenders trade, play and create together. The screenshots show a cottage on a tile-based build grid with a colour palette, a crescent-moon boat, a cast of neighbours in animal costumes and a giant tomato in a vegetable patch. None of it has been reviewed: the App Store has no ratings and no player has posted about a public build.

The pre-order page already sets expectations for the business model. Apple flags Loot Boxes on a listing that shows no purchase prices yet, and Google Play's item range of $0.99 to $99.99 matches the top-up ladder HoYoverse uses elsewhere — a cozy sim with a gacha for furniture or Neighbors is the likely reading, though the description does not say. Neither store shows an advertising badge. Google's data-safety card lists personal info, financial info and four other types collected, and Apple lists identifiers linked to you. The iOS build asks for iOS 14 and 3.46 GB; Android requirements are not published. Prices on a pre-order listing are provisional and regional. When the game installs, this page gets the download buttons, a full review and a score; there is nothing to score in a version 0.9.1 that no one can open.
