WWE 2K25: Netflix Edition is Visual Concepts' console wrestling sim cut down for phones — more than 40 Superstars and Legends from Roman Reigns to The Rock, entrances, commentary, a Career mode and 1v1 and 2v2 online matches — included with a Netflix membership on iOS and Android since November 17, 2025, with no ads and no in-app purchases. It rates 4.7 on the App Store and 4.6 on Google Play. The in-ring action earns the praise; the complaints are a Career of nothing but singles matches, no controller support, and an iPhone 15 Pro minimum.

Forty Superstars, Real Entrances, and a Ring That Feels Like the Console

The wrestling is the console engine: broadcast-style camera, arena entrances with the Superstars' music, commentary from WWE announcers, and a move set of grapples, reversals, finishers and signature taunts across a roster of more than 40 RAW and SmackDown names — with five more added in the summer 2026 update. Modes are Quick Play in classic formats with adjustable difficulty for offline solo bouts, real-time online 1v1 and 2v2 with matchmaking, and a Career that tracks wins, raises a Superstar's stats after each match and chases titles. A December 8, 2025 App Store four-star calls it almost an exact representation of the console game's ring; a September 11, 2026 Play five-star from someone who stopped watching wrestling 25 years ago installed it because there are no in-app purchases and is glad they did.

Career Is Just Singles Matches, and the Menu Comes Back After Every One

The most-voted Play review, an April 24, 2026 three-star with 51 votes, says the graphics are there and the potential too, and the game falls flat: it needs controller support, and Career mode is boring — nothing but 1-on-1 matches with no tag, ladder or Rumble variety. App Store reviews since launch list the same shape: a November 21, 2025 three-star calls it a fun but premature port with a barebones Career and asks for more match types, wrestlers and arenas; a November 23 review says it does not start half the time and the UI outside the ring is glitchy, with a return to the main menu after every match. A July 30, 2026 four-star reports a Career bug that sends the same opponent repeatedly before the champion until you quit the game, and a July 5 review cannot find the titles it is supposedly fighting for.

A 6.5: the best-looking wrestling game on a phone, with the console's ring and roster and nothing to buy — wrapped in a barebones Career, a menu that interrupts every match, no controller support and a hardware bar that excludes every iPhone before the 15 Pro. Take it if you already pay for Netflix, own a recent phone and want quick WWE matches. Skip it if you want a real season mode or a controller, or if your iPhone is older than 2023.
