Sound of Horses is a story-driven horseback adventure from Sweden's Vanilla Sky Productions, sold by the episode: Days 1–3 of Episode 1: Homeland are free, Days 4–10 unlock for $4.99 on the App Store, and the whole first episode runs six to seven hours. There are no ads. Future episodes, starting with The Forest Guard, will be separate unlocks. A March 6, 2026 review with eight votes finds the controls frustrating and the open world over-guided — the game keeps telling you where to go and whom to talk to — and thought you could only talk to people from the saddle; Vanilla Sky replied that NPCs work on foot too and promised more natural pauses for exploration.
