About Apocalypse Survival: New Order

Apocalypse Survival: New Order is a third-person tactical survival roguelike from Pizza Nightmares Club, a small Mexican studio — zombies and human factions across gloomy maps, a Daily Guerrilla mode that gives you one attempt a day with a random character and a global leaderboard, and a Training mode to practise — free on iOS since December 2025 and Android since 2026 with ads and small purchases. It has 341 Google Play reviews at 3.3 and none on the App Store. The players who finished it rate the roguelike loop and the stealth; the melee is janky.

Apocalypse Survival: New Order Review: One Run a Day Through a Zombie War

Daily Guerrilla: A Random Character, One Attempt, a Leaderboard

The structure is the interesting part. Daily Guerrilla mode hands you a random character each day and one attempt at a full run; survive it and your time goes on a global leaderboard, fail and you wait for tomorrow. Training mode removes the limit — pick any character, set your starting coins, and learn their strengths against the same enemies — and a preparation room lets you equip weapons and items before deployment. Missions come in Capture, Assault and Survival types across multiple maps, all in third person with a virtual stick and aim, throw and melee buttons. Enemies are zombies and armed factions; stealth is a system, and a July 13, 2026 Play four-star who finished the game scores it by part — animation 7, combat 8 with melee that sometimes misses entirely, gameplay 9 for the roguelike loop, features 8 for the stealth, with the note that enemies spot you too easily. A July 10 five-star with eight votes loves the graphics and asks for stealth kills.

What Three Reviews and No App Store Ratings Can Tell You

The record is short. The Play listing holds 341 reviews at 3.3 from 50,000-plus installs, and the three visible ones split: the July five-star, the July four-star's finished-game report card, and a September 1 one-star complaining of bad controls, weak weapons, scores that are not saved and ads throughout. The App Store version, released December 19, 2025 and last updated the next day, has no ratings at all, which is unusual nine months on and suggests the iPhone build is either little-downloaded or gated by region. Android reached version 1.1 on June 26, 2026 with bug fixes as the whole changelog. The developer is Julio Pérez of Zapopan, publishing as Pizza Nightmares Club, whose other titles are Animatronics horror games — this is the studio's departure into tactical survival, and the July four-star's verdict that the roguelike design is the strongest part is the most considered opinion available.

Ads, $0.99 Packs on iOS, a $279.99 Ceiling on Android

Both stores show in-app purchases and Google Play shows ads. The App Store lists two items — Pack Apocalypse at $0.99 and Unlock Khalil, a character, at $0.99 — while Google Play's range runs from $0.99 to $279.99, a ceiling that either reflects regional pricing or items the iOS listing does not expose; the September one-star's complaint is the ad load rather than the prices. Google's data-safety card lists location, app info and device IDs shared with third parties, with nothing declared as collected; Apple lists no tracking. The iOS build is 1.79 GB and runs on iOS 13 or later on iPhone only — no iPad listed; Android needs 7.1. English only; rated Mature 17+ on Play for intense violence and gore, 13+ by Apple. Prices are regional.

Pros

  • A one-attempt-a-day Guerrilla mode with random characters and a global leaderboard
  • Training mode to practise any character with chosen starting coins
  • Stealth, capture, assault and survival missions across several atmospheric maps
  • A roguelike loop a finisher scores 9 out of 10
  • Purchases that top out at $0.99 on the App Store

Cons

  • Melee that sometimes misses entirely and animation a fan calls janky
  • Enemies that spot you too easily for a game with stealth
  • Controls, weapons and unsaved scores criticised in a September one-star, plus ads
  • No App Store ratings nine months in, and a $279.99 item ceiling on Android

Verdict

A 5.4 on thin evidence: a small studio's tactical zombie roguelike with a genuinely interesting one-run-a-day structure, janky melee, over-alert enemies and a review record of three Play comments and zero App Store ratings. Take it if you want a daily survival challenge with a leaderboard and can forgive rough combat. Skip it if you want polish, or wait for more players to weigh in — nine months on, they have not.

Gameplay6The daily-run idea is good and the missions vary; the melee and detection undercut the tactics.
Controls5A stick and buttons that one reviewer calls not good; the four-star did not complain.
Replay value5One run a day by design, plus training — a leaderboard is the only long-term goal.
Graphics & sound6Moody fog, bunkers and farmhouses that a five-star calls perfect; animation scored 7 by a finisher.
Monetisation5$0.99 items are fair; ads throughout and a $279.99 Play ceiling are not explained.

Frequently asked questions

1

Can you play Apocalypse Survival: New Order offline?

Training mode should — it is single-player with local characters — but Daily Guerrilla depends on the day's random assignment and a global leaderboard, and a September 2026 reviewer says scores were not saved, which points to server-side records. The listing does not promise offline play; expect the daily mode to need a connection.

2

Is Apocalypse Survival: New Order free?

Free with ads. The App Store lists two $0.99 items — a pack and the character Khalil — and nothing else, while Google Play's range reaches $279.99 for reasons the listing does not show. The one-attempt-a-day structure is not something you can buy past on the App Store list. Prices vary by region.

3

What phone do you need for Apocalypse Survival: New Order?

iOS 13 or newer with 1.79 GB free — iPhone only, no iPad listed — or Android 7.1 or newer. A July 2026 Play five-star calls it totally great on Android; no reviewer reports performance problems. The App Store build has not been updated since December 2025, so newer iPhones are untested by any reviewer.

4

Can you play Apocalypse Survival: New Order with friends?

Only through the leaderboard, where completed Daily Guerrilla runs are ranked globally. There is no co-op or multiplayer described on either store; the factions you fight are AI, and each day's run is yours alone.

5

How long is Apocalypse Survival: New Order?

A run is a single session of missions — long enough that a July 2026 reviewer treats finishing the game as an event worth a report card — and Daily Guerrilla allows one per day, so the campaign is spread across days by design. Training mode is unlimited for anyone who wants to grind the characters first.
