Gametime is a ticket resale app built for the last minute: listed prices include fees by default, and its LastCall feature keeps events on sale until 90 minutes after they start. The free Gametime Guarantee refunds canceled events automatically and pays credit, not cash, if you find a lower price within two hours. The trade-off is finality: every other sale is final, and delivery depends on the individual seller.
Specs come from the official store listings and were last checked on 2026-10-01. Developers change pricing and requirements — check the store page before installing.
Every per-seat price already contains the service fee: the help center says the Includes Fees toggle is on by default, and switching it off shows the price before fees. In most states the checkout total also includes tax; in DC and 12 states, among them Texas and Georgia, tax appears only on the final checkout page. A value score weighs seat quality, live market prices and comparable seats in the same venue, and it picks the listings surfaced as Exclusives and Zone Deals. Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal are accepted; the app adds Venmo, the website adds Affirm installments except in Canada, and a processed order's payment method cannot be switched. Canadian events are priced in US dollars too.
LastCall, launched in February 2019, keeps listings on sale until 90 minutes after an event starts; the company's data that year put the median MLB ticket at $48 two days out and $13 ninety minutes after first pitch. Delivery is the catch: many venues release barcodes only 24 to 48 hours before the event, and Special Delivery tickets arrive as a Ticketmaster, AXS, MLB Ballpark or SeatGeek transfer to your checkout email. Zone Deals trade certainty for price: the store screenshot shows a $44 seat with fees included, and the exact seat appears only at delivery. Of the 199 newest English Play reviews, from August 20 to September 30, 2026, 161 give five stars; 12 of the 22 one- and two-star reviews describe late, missing or wrong tickets.
The free guarantee, last revised June 6, 2025, covers price, event cancellation, job loss, on-time delivery and seller payouts. The price match is narrower than the badge suggests: you must send timestamped screenshots within two hours of buying, for the same section, row and quantity, and the gap must be more than taxes and fees. It pays account credit, not cash: 110% of the difference, capped at $200, so $150 paid against $100 elsewhere returns $55. Price drops inside the app are excluded, though the pitch is that prices fall toward showtime. If tickets miss the start, support looks for comparable seats first, then offers 110% credit or a full refund. Job loss claims need state or federal unemployment forms at least 72 hours before the event.
Outside canceled events, every sale is final and orders cannot be changed, even seats bought by mistake. An event canceled without a new date is refunded automatically to the original payment method, typically within 5 to 7 business days, and spent credit returns at once. Postponed events do not qualify, even with no new date, and a rescheduled date the venue honors means no refund. If you can't go, resale is the exit: listings close 6 hours before the start, payout arrives 48 hours after the event, and Zone Deal, Super Bowl and NBA Finals tickets cannot be relisted. Checkout may also offer paid XCover ticket protection, $9.75 per ticket in the store screenshot, with claims filed through XCover rather than the free guarantee.

We score Gametime 7.0: prices include fees from the first screen, LastCall keeps events on sale 90 minutes after they start, and canceled events refund without a claim. Take it if you buy on the day and can handle a seller transfer through Ticketmaster or AXS. Skip it if you buy months ahead and may need a way out: sales are final, relisting ends 6 hours before the start, and the price match pays only capped credit.

Yes, the app is free and has no in-app purchases; you pay only for tickets. Service fees are built into the listed price because the Includes Fees toggle is on by default. In DC and 12 states, including Texas and Georgia, sales tax is added on the final checkout page.
Yes. LastCall keeps listings on sale until 90 minutes after an event begins. Some tickets still arrive as a Ticketmaster, AXS or MLB Ballpark transfer to the email you enter at checkout, so have that account ready before buying late.
The help center publishes no fee percentage; the fee is folded into the per-seat price. In the store screenshot, two seats total $276, with optional XCover ticket protection at $9.75 per ticket. Prices vary by event and region and can change, so compare final checkout totals.
Request deletion under Profile, then View Profile, in the app or on the website. The request is refused if you ordered in the last 120 days, hold tickets to an upcoming event or sold tickets in the past year; an email explains why.
It depends on timing. TickPick says it adds no buyer service fees and refunds canceled events in full, StubHub's FanProtect Guarantee promises replacement tickets or a full refund, and SeatGeek ranks listings by value with Deal Score. Gametime's edge is same-day buying through LastCall and Zone Deals.
