Prime Rush is SuperGaming's battle royale with two ways to win — last squad standing, or grab Cosmium and extract — rebuilt from its 2024 game Indus for Brazil with esports org LOUD and opened worldwide in April 2026. Matches on the Lighthouse map run 10–15 minutes, with 4v4 Favela deathmatch and 1v1 rooms beside them and hero abilities on top. Free, no ads, loot boxes flagged, packs to $179.99. The reviews ask for controllers, bots and friends.

Two Ways to Win, One Favela Map and Five Abilities

The design hook survived the rebrand: a battle royale you can also win by collecting Cosmium, securing it and extracting before the circle decides anything — the mechanic SuperGaming built for Indus in October 2024 and kept when it remade the game as Prime Rush with Spacecaps, parent of Brazil's LOUD, for a Brazilian early access and an April 2026 worldwide release. The Indo-futurist setting became a favela-and-coast island; the Lighthouse map grew in the Cosmic Rush update, with landmarks called Torre de TV, Condomínio and Beira-Mar. Beside it sit Mini TDM, 4v4 on Favela, and a 1v1 mode added to custom rooms in the September 7, 2026 patch. Heroes carry one ability each — Dead Eye's one-shot headshot weapon, Shield Dome, Super Speed, Hunter Instinct's infrared reveal and the new Field Medic drone — with Ability Progression and a Self Revive consumable. Matches run 10 to 15 minutes, with voice chat built in.

No Controller, Empty Lobbies in May, and a Left Thumb That Fires

The most-voted Google Play review, May 5, 2026 with 36 helpful votes, is one star and specific: no controller support while cross-play is on, so pad players one-shot you from spawn; abilities that money accelerates; and level-100 players days after UK pre-registration opened. SuperGaming's reply promises controller support later; App Store reviews in May and July are still asking. Two more May reviews describe the launch: one waited over ten minutes three times for a match that never filled and asked for bots; another uninstalled because the left side of the screen, used to move, also fires — the developer's reply says the overlap has been flagged. By July the App Store complaints had moved to friends: a July 16 review cannot invite them, finds no duos or solo queue and a global chat in other languages, while a July 15 five-star wants a clan system. Graphics glitches on iPad appear in June.

Loot Boxes, Gems to $99.99 and an Offer Pack at $179.99

The economy is the Free Fire model with bigger numbers. Apple flags Loot Boxes; Google Play prices items from $0.99 to $179.99, and the App Store's top ten run from a $0.99 Offer Pack through Gems Packs at $4.99, $9.99, $19.99, $49.99 and $99.99 to an Offer Pack at $179.99. Season 4's Cosmic Rush Battle Pass carries the legendary characters Star Sentinel and Nebula, and a Retroboy gacha sells an avatar in variants. Neither store shows an advertising badge, Google's data-safety card lists nothing collected or shared, and Apple's tracking list is Usage Data not linked to you. The install is 2.8 GB on iPhone, iOS 15 or newer, Android 7.0 or newer, in 18 languages, rated 13+ and Teen for violence and blood. The numbers carry Indus's history: 5 million installs and 88,200 reviews at 3.8 on Play, 147 App Store ratings at 4.4. Prices are regional.

Verdict

A 5.6 for a good idea — extract or survive — in a shooter whose reviews describe the things it lacks: a controller, bots for empty lobbies, a way to invite friends. Take it if you want short battle royale rounds with an escape hatch and play touch-only anyway. Skip it if you play with a pad or with friends, or if a $179.99 pack in a free game tells you what the abilities are for.

No. Every mode is online — battle royale, 4v4 Favela and 1v1 rooms are matched on SuperGaming's servers, with cross-play and voice chat — and a May 2026 reviewer's ten-minute waits for a lobby were the servers, not the phone. There is no bot match or offline mode on either store.

Is Prime Rush pay to win?

The most-voted Play review says the abilities are, and the shop makes it possible: Ability Progression upgrades, loot boxes flagged by Apple, Gems Packs to $99.99 and Offer Packs to $179.99, plus a seasonal battle pass with legendary characters. Weapons are still looted in the match, so aim matters; the pressure is on abilities and cosmetics. Prices vary by region.

What phone do you need for Prime Rush?
