What PlayStation and Oh Bibi Have Actually Announced

The developer is Oh Bibi — the Paris studio behind Frag Pro Shooter — working with PlayStation Studios and Insomniac, and the CEO, Stanislas Dewavrin, set out the game on the PlayStation Blog on July 15, 2026: a free-to-play hero shooter with 12 Rangers at launch and more to come, six modes including team PvP, PvE waves, a battle-royale-style mode and a football showdown, wrapped in a story where Captain Qwark builds a combat simulation to find the next Galactic Rangers. The soft launch has been long and regional: the Philippines and Indonesia first, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark in December 2025, Canada in May 2026 and the UK in August, with an App Store review from January 15 as the earliest trace. Worldwide pre-registration opened in July with currency rewards and a Clank Suit skin for the hero Widget, and the App Store lists October 5, 2026 as expected. Sony has not confirmed it.

Twelve Rangers, Sheep Guns and a Tank Transformation

The listing describes the shape: real-time multiplayer with stunning 3D on iconic locations, over 11 heroes to recruit and upgrade, each with a weapon, a gadget and an ultimate — turn enemies into sheep, transform into a tank — and synergies to build as Rangers level. The cast is Lombaxes, robots and aliens. Version 1.10.2 on September 16 fixed a Rivet event, optimised memory for better frame rates and closed background crashes — evidence of a live build in the soft-launch countries, where Google Play's rating sits at 3.5 with no review text surfaced and the US App Store holds one five-star from January. The iOS build is 1.3 GB on iOS 17, the Android floor is 7.1, and the listing is in English only for now. Nothing here can be scored until the game is installable everywhere.

The Shop Is Already Written: Super Pass $11.99, Raritanium to $99.99

Because the soft launch is live, the pre-order page carries the whole economy. Apple flags Loot Boxes and In-App Purchases; Google Play adds an advertising badge and random items in purchases, pricing items from $0.99 to $99.99. The App Store's top ten are a Super Pass at $11.99, a Welcome Offer Pack and Starter Upgrade Kit at $4.99, and Raritanium — the upgrade currency — in a Handful at $1.99, a Pile at $4.99, a Sack at $9.99, a Crate at $19.99, a Freight at $49.99 and a Vault at $99.99. Apple's tracking list is long: Purchases, Location, User Content, Identifiers, Usage Data and Diagnostics linked to you; Google's card lists Location, Personal info and four other types collected. Rated 13+ and Everyone 10+. Prices on a pre-release listing are provisional and regional; the buttons, the review and the score arrive with the global launch.
