Five Nights at Freddy's Takes Over Fortnite From October 1
Epic confirmed the crossover on September 27 with a trailer on Fortnite's own channel: the Fazbear band moves into Battle Royale as animatronic bosses
Unscrew coloured bolts to free the planks they pin, in an order that does not jam the board, against a timer of three or four minutes. Free slots at the top limit how many bolts of each colour you can hold. Free with advertising, removing it costs $4.99, and a three-day pass costs the same.
Specs come from the official store listings and were last checked on 2026-09-07. Developers change pricing and requirements — check the store page before installing.
Planks are pinned to a board by coloured bolts, and unscrewing one moves it into a slot at the top. When three bolts of one colour meet in the slots they clear; fill every slot with mismatched colours and the level is lost. So the puzzle is not which bolt to remove but in what order — a plank that comes free too early blocks the bolt underneath it, and a timer of two to four minutes runs while you work it out. Levels in the store screens run from four to fifty-one, tightening steadily.
Four helpers sit under the board: add an extra slot, remove a colour, undo the last move and a hammer that clears a bolt outright. Each has a small plus button attached, which is the tell — they are consumables, replenished by watching adverts or by paying, and a hard level is designed to end with one of them just out of reach. It is a competent execution of a mechanic that spread across a hundred near-identical clones in two years, and the timers are what separate this one from the untimed versions.
The App Store lists Remove Ads at $4.99, tickets from $2.99 to $14.99, a Master Pass at $9.99 and — the line worth reading twice — a three-day VIP pass, also $4.99. Apple rates the game 13+, citing contests, advertising and references to alcohol, tobacco or drugs, which in a game about screwing planks together comes from the adverts rather than the content. Google Play shows 4.3 stars from 491,000 reviews on 50 million installs, with an advertising badge; the install is 520.7 MB. Neither store average is bad, but both sit below the puzzle games with real design behind them.

A tidy execution of the unscrewing puzzle that flooded the stores after 2023: the slot limit gives it a real losing condition, and the timer stops it being idle busywork. What drags it down is the shop — consumable boosters offered at each failure, and a three-day pass priced the same as removing the adverts permanently. Play it offline and free.

Levels run on the device, so it plays without a signal — and offline the adverts cannot load, which removes the main irritation for free. Progress and rewards sync when the connection returns.
Remove Ads at $4.99, ticket packs from $2.99 to $14.99, a Master Pass at $9.99 and a three-day VIP pass at $4.99. That last one is the aggressive item: the same price as permanent advert removal, for seventy-two hours of benefits.
520.7 MB and iOS 13 or later, which is disproportionate for a wooden board and a set of bolts. The advertising libraries and the level data account for most of it; the game itself asks almost nothing of the processor.
No. It is entirely single-player, with daily tasks and events providing the only structure beyond the level list. Nothing is shared, compared or competed for against other people, which is normal for this genre but worth stating.
Two to four minutes, capped by the timer shown at the top of the board. Failing restarts immediately with no life system, which is unusually generous — the pressure comes from the clock rather than from a wait.
