About Wrestling Manager: Dynasty

Wrestling Manager: Dynasty is Now to Play's tycoon game in wrestling costume — build a promotion, upgrade an arena, recruit a roster from a gacha of unmistakable lookalikes of Hogan, Sting and the Undertaker, train them, and host auto-resolved matches — free on Android since summer 2026 and on iOS since September 15, with ads and packs from $0.99 to $99.99. It rates 4.7 on the App Store from 92 early ratings and 4.1 on Google Play. Fans like the roster; the reviews say it is a copy of every other tycoon, that experience is starved to sell it, and that the likenesses look like a lawsuit waiting.

Wrestling Manager: Dynasty Review: A Tycoon Template in a Borrowed Roster

Recruit the Lookalikes, Train Them, Book the Match, Upgrade the Arena

The design is the mobile tycoon template applied to a wrestling promotion: an isometric arena complex whose office, gym and stands you upgrade for fan capacity and passive income, a recruitment screen with Basic and Elite pulls that yield wrestlers by star rating, training that raises strength, speed and skills, and matches that resolve automatically with counters and a clock while you watch health bars. Chapters of story matches gate progress; alliances and a Faction Boss give it a social layer. The roster is the draw and the risk: a red-masked bull, a Sting in face paint, a Hulk Hogan in yellow and red, an Undertaker, a Rey Mysterio, a Bret Hart — the likenesses are exact enough that three September 15 App Store reviews, two of them five-stars, worry the game will be shut down for copyright. A September 15 five-star from a wrestling fan and GM-sim fan calls it a blast so far; an August 10 Play three-star has been surprisingly entertained.

Not a Booking Sim, Starved of Experience, and Nothing to Do Between Timers

The two App Store two-stars from September 15 and 17 make the genre complaint: it is not a wrestling or booking simulator but another quest-fix-build-collect game, a carbon copy of every other tycoon, with no freedom and no booking angle. The Play reviews make the economy complaint: a September 8 three-star calls it pay-to-play unless you want to move extremely slowly, with too many random events and too many points where nothing is left to do because a match cannot be passed without upgrades still on timers; an August 13 two-star finds experience points too hard to earn, apparently on purpose; an August 10 three-star loses online matches to opponents with three more counters despite a better team, and finds the fourth challenge impossible without buying experience. A September 15 App Store one-star calls it extremely grindy after the first couple of wrestlers. Version 1.1.2 on September 14 added the Alliance Challenge and a Moves System.

Packs Named by Price, $0.99 to $99.99, Ads on Android, and a Data Card Apple Lists in Full

The App Store shop is nine packs named by their price — $0.99, $1.99, $2.99, $3.99, $4.99, $9.99, $19.99, $49.99 and $99.99 — with Google Play's range identical and advertising on the Play listing. Data collection is broad: Google lists personal info, financial info and two other types shared with third parties; Apple lists purchases, user content, identifiers, usage data, diagnostics and other data linked to you. The iOS build is 369 MB on iOS 12 or later — a low floor — with iPad and Apple Silicon Macs; Android needs 7.0; English only; rated Everyone on Play and 18+ by Apple. Play shows 100,000-plus installs and 1,130 reviews at 4.1; the App Store 92 ratings at 4.7 in its first week. Now to Play, a Spanish studio publishing under the Game Hollywood banner, has shipped the same template before with other themes. Prices are regional.

Pros

  • A roster wrestling fans recognise on sight, with story chapters they enjoy
  • Arena, gym and office upgrades with passive income, plus alliances and a faction boss
  • A Moves System for training techniques, added in September
  • 369 MB on iOS 12 or Android 7.0
  • A blast so far, per fans of both wrestling and GM sims

Cons

  • A build-collect tycoon template, not a booking simulator — no freedom, no angles
  • Experience points starved to sell them, and online losses to opponents with more counters
  • Pay-to-play pace with idle stretches where nothing can be done until timers end
  • Likenesses close enough that three reviews expect a copyright shutdown

Verdict

A 5.0: a tycoon template wearing a wrestling roster that is not licensed to look the way it does, paced by an experience economy its players say is starved on purpose. Take it for a week if you are a wrestling fan who wants to see the lookalikes and does not mind timers. Skip it if you wanted a booking simulator — this is not one — or if you would rather not invest in a game its own five-star reviews expect to be pulled.

Gameplay5Upgrade, recruit, train, watch — the tycoon loop with no booking beneath it.
Controls7Taps and timers that work; the matches play themselves.
Replay value5Chapters, alliances, a faction boss and events, paced by experience you must buy.
Graphics & sound6Bright cartoon wrestlers who look like the real ones — which is the appeal and the problem.
Monetisation3Nine packs to $99.99, ads, gacha recruits and an experience economy reviewers call deliberate.

Frequently asked questions

1

Can you play Wrestling Manager: Dynasty offline?

No. Online matches, alliances, the Faction Boss, events, the gacha and the shop run on the publisher's servers, and the Play listing notes users interact. The passive gym income accrues only while you are online, per the September 2026 patch notes. There is no offline mode.

2

Is Wrestling Manager: Dynasty pay to win?

By the reviews, yes: a September 2026 three-star calls it pay-to-play unless you accept an extremely slow pace, an August two-star says experience is starved on purpose, and an August three-star could not clear a challenge without buying experience. Packs run $0.99 to $99.99 on both stores, with ads on Android. Prices vary by region.

3

What phone do you need for Wrestling Manager: Dynasty?

iOS 12 or newer with 369 MB free — iPhone, iPad or Apple Silicon Mac — or Android 7.0 or newer. It is a light isometric game and no reviewer reports performance problems; the floors are among the lowest on the store.

4

Can you play Wrestling Manager: Dynasty with friends?

Through alliances — an Alliance Challenge unlocks at alliance level 3 — and online matches against other promotions, which an August 2026 reviewer says are lost to opponents with more counters regardless of roster. There is no co-op booking or shared promotion.

5

How much time does Wrestling Manager: Dynasty take?

Short sessions around timers: a September 2026 three-star says there are too many points where you must close the game because nothing can be done until an upgrade finishes. Chapters gate the story — the Moves System opens after chapter 5-10 — and progress past the first wrestlers is grindy, per a September one-star.
