A zombie apocalypse built as a settlement game: clear infected from the streets, rebuild a shelter, plant crops, recruit named heroes and rebuild a vehicle that fights alongside them. Alliances hold territory on a shared map. No advertising badge, crates and currency from $0.99 to $49.99, and a 1 GB install. Google Play rates it 4.3, the App Store 4.6.
Specs come from the official store listings and were last checked on 2026-09-07. Developers change pricing and requirements — check the store page before installing.
The base is laid out among wrecked buildings and overgrown roads: a shelter to expand, farm plots for food, workshops, walls. Clearing infected from the surrounding blocks unlocks more space, so growth and combat are tied together rather than separated into menus. Combat itself plays as small squads with heroes at the front, health bars over the enemy line and abilities firing on cooldown — quick enough to watch, shallow enough to leave running. It is the standard structure of the genre executed with better art direction than most.
Named survivors are recruited, levelled and slotted into squads, each with a role and an ability, and the collection is where long-term progress sits. The distinctive addition is a vehicle: a battle truck upgraded through parts, with its own level and combat power, which fights beside the squad and gives an alternative track to pour resources into when the hero roster stalls. Around that sit chapter missions with a written story, which is more narrative than most games of this shape attempt. Story chapters carry written scenes between fights, which gives the hero roster names worth remembering rather than statistics alone.
The App Store sells biocaps from $0.99 to $19.99 and crates at $2.99, $4.99, $9.99, $19.99 and $49.99. Apple rates the game 13+ for infrequent realistic violence, horror themes, suggestive themes and weapons, and — unusually for this genre — does not list loot boxes, despite the crates. Google Play carries no advertising badge, showing 4.3 stars from 2.31 million reviews on 50 million installs, against 4.6 from 382,000 App Store ratings. The install is 1 GB. The absence of a loot box descriptor is the odd detail here, since crates behave exactly like the ones Apple labels elsewhere.

A better-looking zombie settlement game than the genre usually produces, with two touches that help: clearing the streets expands the base, and the battle vehicle gives resources somewhere to go when heroes stall. Everything else is the standard arrangement — timers, alliances, crates to $49.99 — and the daily obligation arrives sooner than the story finishes. Worth the first chapters; think twice before joining an active alliance.

No. The settlement, alliances and world map all live on the server. Resources accumulate while the app is closed, so progress continues without you, but nothing can be played without a connection.
Biocaps, the premium currency, from $0.99 to $19.99, and crates from $2.99 to $49.99 containing hero and upgrade material. Purchases shorten timers and accelerate the hero roster rather than unlocking content outright.
1 GB and iOS 13 or later. The settlement art is what accounts for it, and the game runs on mid-range Android hardware without much trouble — which is where the bulk of its fifty million installs sit.
For anything past the early chapters, yes. Alliances speed construction through help requests, hold territory on the shared map and run the events with the best rewards. Solo play covers the story chapters and little else.
Short visits several times a day for timers and collection, with longer sessions during alliance events at fixed hours. The story chapters can be played in bursts, but the strategy layer expects months of routine attention.
